Big News…But Not Today
January 20th, 2010
I am VERY excited. This morning I will be making plans for something that has the potential to be HUGE! I can't talk about it yet, but I am bursting to tell you. Hopefully, we'll hammer out some details on our conference call this morning and will be able to get our balls out of the air and rolling along.
Speaking of conference calls, did I mention that it's a Skype call? I assume video will be involved. That's not good. I was out waaaaaaay too late last night seeing this Divine lady
That's right, Bette Midler. My bestie, Cajun Vegan, scored free tickets and so off we went. I thought it would e a lark and provide great blog fodder. It was and it did. She was phenomenal. Like a true diva, she kept us waiting for an extra 15 minutes, but when she popped on stage she killed it. Her stage is huge and she covered every square inch of it many times. Her voice is amazing and nobody was spared a lashing from her sharp tongue. She made fun of Sarah Palin, Octomom, Tiger Woods, Rush Limbaugh and countless others. The show was AMAZING.
However, a late night is not good for the looks. The bags under my eyes could hold enough groceries to feed a family of four for a week. Not good for a video call. Good thing my friends are kind. I look a little like this.
I'm slightly less orange and my eyes are blue, but you get the point. Stay tuned for my super de duper exciting news!!!
